Existere - Journal of Arts and Literature founded in 1978 is a publication established, edited, and published by students in the Professional Writing Program at York University in Toronto, Canada and mentored by faculty members.
Existere publishes exciting new works of poetry, fiction, non-fiction, and art from both budding and established contributors.
As of 2023, the journal will be publishing issues annually and switching from our prior inclusion of international contributors to focus on creative perspectives from within Canada.
